It is important to physically check the ELD installed into the vehicle while the engine is running to diagnose as a hardware issue.
- Let the engine idle for 5-10 minutes with the ELD plugged in
- Make sure the vehicle is in an area known to have cellular coverage and good satellite connection (avoid garages, tall buildings, and other obstructions).
The LED indicators will show a light pattern as seen below if it is working properly.
If the light pattern is different from what is 'working order,' please notate the issue and contact the FleetUp Support Team.
